Colour Check Tea Towel
Colour Check Tea Towel
In a minimalist grid, ‘Colour Check’ explores the interplay between 40 unique hues.
The continuous overlapping and paralleling of colours creates subtle nuances in the palette. How colours behave with one another has always been what inspires me the most.
This textile is woven in the Weverijmuseum in Geldrop, The Netherlands.
Whereas most tea towels make use of one or two colours, this resource uses very traditional machinery which allows for many different coloured yarns to be woven together. As a colourist, I feel empowered when there’s a certain limitlessness to the colours I can use.
